Open Days & Hours
Effective 11/19/2009The Center will be open:
- Wednesdays: 12:00 to 5:00pm
- Thursdays: 12:00 to 2:00 pm
- Fridays: 9:00 am to 1:00pm
- Saturdays: 9:00 am to 2:00 pm
Special open hours will be posted in the Center, as well as on our telephone messaging system. Other Closings:
Please note that in winter months when there is no school in
Providence due to bad weather, the Recycle Center is also closed for member shopping. Please listen to Channel 6 or Channel 10 for notice of cancellation.
The Recycle Center is a member of the RI Broadcasters Association.Notification for closings due to inclement weaher or other concerns that may arise is sent to RIBA who
notifies all member television, radio stations and websites. All stations make every effort to alert their viewers/listeners. Phone/Fax

RRIE is located at the end of Spooner Street off Elmwood Avenue (about one mile south of the Zoo). Park only in the Recycle Center parking lot on the left. Walk through the
gate, up the stairs and through the yellow doors. Wheelchair access is off the loading ramp to the right and rear of building. No parking in the loading dock area — for pick up only.
Directions
If traveling SOUTH on 95, take Exit 17 — Elmwood Avenue/Roger Williams Park Zoo. Take a left onto Elmwood Avenue and proceed approximately one mile (past the Zoo on left). Take a right onto Spooner Street.
If traveling NORTH on 95, take Exit 16. Bear right on exit following signs for Rte. 1/Elmwood Avenue. Take a right onto Elmwood Avenue and 5th right onto Spooner Street. |
